THE ORDER IS THE ORDER…

King Milan Obrenović was remembered as a great hedonist, but also as someone who started to bring order to the area of alcoholic beverages. Even as a Serbian prince, in 1881 he signed the Law on Taverns, which regulates the collection of taxes and places for the sale of alcoholic beverages. By order of 1919, the Kingdom . of SHS limited the serving of alcohol. The rulebook on inns, taverns and other shops with alcoholic beverages was adopted in 1925. . and the first Law on Wine in 1929 .
