ŽUPA
Indigenous and traditionalŽupa Aleksandrovačka, a wine-growing area located in the central part of Serbia, represents the traditional area of Serbian viticulture and winemaking. . The undulating hills are covered with orchards and vineyards and protected by the surrounding mountains.
Wine lovers most often recognize Župa by its incense and prokupac, autochthonous Serbian grape varieties, Župa harvest, traditional wine event and small family wineries.
Our wine tour includes a visit to the Drenca Monastery, the Museum of Winemaking and Viticulture, as well as the fields – old winegrowing settlements.
A tour of monasteries and wineries in the vicinity of Trstenik and the widely known Vrnjačka spa complete the offer on this wine route.
