NIŠ GORICA
Since ancient times, the hill of Gorica, located on the southern side of the Niš basin, has been known for its vineyards. Key battles for the liberation of Nis took place in Gorica, after which most of the Gorica estates passed into the hands of the wealthier Nis families.
Svetozar Tutunović, a Niš lawyer, built a wine cellar in Gorica, within which he opened an inn and an inn on the first floor. Živko Atanacković, a well-known merchant from Niš, was the owner of a large number of vineyards in Gorica.
