THE CELLAR OF JOVAN TEC

Gudurica, a small wine village is located near the town of Vršac, in the southeast of Banat.
At the beginning of the 18th century, the Tec family, originally from Alsace, was among the first settlers and founders of a new settlement called Guteritz. The Tec family planted vineyards and built a wine cellar with the largest barrel in the Balkans, with volume of 27,000 liters.
Jovan, the last member of the Tec wine family, improved the family economy. In addition to the wine cellar, he also built a brandy cellar, a pressing plant and other facilities necessary for grape processing.
