CRKVENAC – COOPERATIVE VILLAGE
The village of Crkvenac is located only 4 km from Svilajnac, in the Moravian District. Back in 1927 . the vinegrowers of Crkvenac had founded a wine cooperative and two years later they built a cellar which, after WW2, war became part of NAVIP and specialized only in the production of brandy. In 40 years of operation from this cellar, more than five million bottles of the best Serbian plum brandy under the brands “Serbian Plum Brandy” and “Bardaklija”, packed in traditional Serbian buklia, were exported around the world.
