Veljko Mulina, B. Sc., an oenologist from Hajdukovo near Palić, chose, after graduating from university, the most difficult path and entered the wonderful world of sparkling wines. Under his baton, in 1958 . sparkling wines from Palić went to the markets all over the country: “Biser Palića”,
“Rubin Palića”, “Gold Sekt” and “Zlatna kapljica”. Maestro Mulina wove his knowledge and experience into restarting the production
of “Bakarska vodica”, the famous sparkling wine from this area.
The Mulina family, through its activity in the wine world, carefully preserves the memory of Veljko and his and his stellar “Biser Palića”.
